This testing module was designed to support industrial designers in making informed decisions regarding buttons and sensors' location and size.

The first phase of this project involves analyzing how existing devices on the market define the placement and dimensions of their buttons and sensors. The second phase utilizes the testing module to collect UX data from our target users.

Measurement

The size and placement of buttons and sensors depend on the dimensions of the phone, and different user segments have varying preferences in these aspects.

Module

There are two sizes of the testing module: one simulates a smaller smartphone, and the other simulates a larger smartphone. Measurements are provided on both the front and back of the module, and there are slots on both sides to accommodate interchangeable buttons.
